We will be holding an event soon to urge people to keep a close eye on the words of some of the more deceitful leaders of the NDP/CCF who have a bad habit of not having any real ideas of their own.
Tommy Douglas, for example, who was not born in Canada nor was he raised in anyway in Saskatchewan, plagiarized Robert Burns poetry on a mouse in his bizzare rant against business in Saskatchewan that is to some small degree (since most regular folk think it is bizarre) recited in radical and reactionary circles of the NDP. But many consider Tommy Douglas' giving Uranium to the United States to drop on innocent Japanese babies, children and women to be far worse than his plagiarism of Burns' ideas. Likewise we think Tommy Douglas' stated desire to sterilize and kill persons with disabilities to be worse than his coming to Canada to promote such ideas.
Perhaps a quote from a man by the name of Sasaki who was one of the few survivors of the atomic bombing of a Japanese city might best help anyone who would idolize Tommy Douglas in any manner understand why we think it is important to not overlook the real character of Tommy Douglas. From a book called "Hiroshima" by John Hersey: "I see, Dr. Sasaki once said, that they are holding a trial for war ciminals in Tokyo just now. I think they ought to try the men who decided to use the bomb and they should hang them all."
Such statements echoing through history force us to ask ourselves whether we should include the NDP and Tommy Douglas amongst those who are guilty of these Crimes Against Humanity of helping facilitate in any manner the use of Nuclear Weapons.
